About Reiki

Reiki can be considered a form of stress management. Through working with a person's energy field Reiki treatment encourages healing on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels according to the receiving person’s inner wisdom.

Each of us is an interconnected system of energy exchanges, constantly interacting within ourselves and with the environment. When we are in a balanced state of exchange within ourselves, with the people around us and with our environment, we feel good.

Physical, mental and emotional stress throws our system out of balance. When a person’s energy system is out of balance for a prolonged period, this can result in illness and dis-ease. Reiki is an easy and effective way to help a person de-stress their energy system on all levels.

The results of Reiki are always individual to the person receiving the Reiki because each person’s energy system is unique.

Most people feel a sense of deep relaxation. Relaxation by itself has a healing effect because when we are in a relaxed state, our bodies have more energy to put into the healing process.

If a person is consciously on a spiritual path, then that person will usually experience a greater sense of alignment with their own unique spiritual and soul path.
